What started off as a side job of catering weddings, showers and more, soon became a journey of cultivating friendships and delivering an unmatched hospitality experience. BTS is made up of some of the area's most creative, hardworking and talented women.
By day, Gia is the owner of Legacy Fiberoptics, Inc., a fiber optic repair and calibration facility in Clinton, New York. She is also the President of the EZ Riders Snowmobile Club & the Talent Booker for the Levitt AMP Utica Music Series. By night, she bartends and serves. After working with an amazing group of women for more than 11 years on the side, Gia decided it was time to bring everyone together and start their own business.
I'm typically playing the piano, snowmobiling, spending time with my family, dancing and singing with friends, reading or or thinking of new business ideas!

By day, Alex is a Program Manager at Assured Information Security (AIS) in Rome, New York. Her team deploys cross-domain solutions to military installations across the world. She also owns a hardscapes company with her husband, Dave’s Landscaping in Clinton, New York.
Once Gia presented the idea to her, it was a no-brainer to join the BTS team, as she had been a bartender at a banquet facility since 2012 and loves to work with clients to bring their visions to life.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love playing card games, board games and lawn games. During the winter, my husband and I knock out a serious amount of jigsaw puzzles and enjoy watching football.

I’m generally a beer drinker, but I also enjoy a dry red wine or a gin and soda depending on my mood!
By day, Kay is a Program Coordinator for a large academic hospital and helps support professional development for all things nursing. Whether it’s advanced education, specialty certifications or grant utilization, she’s got it covered! Kay met all of the wonderful BTS women when she started working with them back in 2011. When Gia reached out about this idea, she jumped at the chance to work with the ladies again, and to bring forward a service they were all passionate about.
I have twin daughters who keep me on my toes. When I’m not cleaning up the toys they trail behind them or watching the same movie on repeat, I love to hang out with family and friends. I’m also a big reader.

I’m always in the mood for an ice-cold beer, but I’m a sucker for anything that has rum in it. Oh, and then there’s wine. And then gin. I mean honestly, anything.
By day, T is an office and operating room Medical Assistant for a local orthopedic surgeon. Most of her career has been in the medical field. For the past 13 years, she has been a server at another facility specializing in weddings and banquets. After a few discussions amongst the ladies of BTS, she was eager to take the leap and start this adventure!
Being outdoors is my favorite. I enjoy gardening, ATV riding, camping and snowmobiling. I am always up for going to a country concert or on a road trip!

Alona is a Government Accountant. She started her career fresh out of college and has spent the last 15 years supporting our military. She had been a server at a banquet facility for more 11 years, where she met the smart and talented woman of BTS. Gia approached her with idea to start their own business and there was no doubt she wanted to be part of it.
Spending time with family is my favorite thing to do. I’m huge on making memories and going on small adventures with my two kids. We love to have game nights and watch movies.

Mel has worked in the retail sector of the banking industry for the last 16 years in various roles. She is currently a Branch Manager at NBT Bank in Rome, New York. She has been serving and bartending at bars, restaurants and venues for the past 18 years. In 2012, Mel started working at banquet facility to get ideas for her own wedding, where she met this amazing and hard-working group of ladies. As they all kept being asked to work private events, she quickly realized the need for this type of business in the market.
My husband and I love to travel. We try and take a trip at least once a year out of the country. I have also found a love for gardening and arranging flowerpots.

By day, Chey is a Registered Nurse, she is also a Bartender at the Aud for the Utica Comets games. After several years in the food and beverage industry, Chey knew it was time to put their dreams of branching out into a reality and BTS was the perfect opportunity.
Fun for me is really the simple things in life like quality time with family and friends, boating and anything outdoors.
